I agree, but, Crystal makes all sorts of mistakes in Excel. In the export to excel, selecting constant column width, and making it smallish, will help keep the alignment but results in lots of columns.
Putting in page breaks is not necessarily a bad thing, as the report breaks and there might be identifying information in the header/footer. Also, just because you lump all the groups together, doesn't mean that the end user is going to all time. We have a client that needs the headers as he has over 5 companies and 90 divisions and the only place that this information is displayed is in the header...if you just want a data dump, why are you using Crystal ;)
The constant columns is the best hint I can give...you would think that Crystal could keep the data aligned in the same column if it is from the same field on the report....but no, it can't.
