Hi All,
 
i have the following problem:
 
aaaaaa      06-15-2009  11:35 pm     06-17-2009 04:00 am
aaaaaa      06-15-2009  11:40 pm     06-18-2009 05:00 am
aaaaaa      06-16-2009  11:48 pm     06-18-2009 07:00 am
 
and i want  to have the following result by grouping:
 
aaaaa       06-15-2009 11:35 pm      06-18-2009 07:00 am
 
so,
 
group 1  aaaa
group 2: lowest value
group 3: highest value
 
i am not so familiar with grouping formulas.

group by aaaa, in the group footer or header, use the aggregates Min and Max...no grouping formula is going give that result as it is not a 'row' of data.

do you also know what kind of formula i need to calculate the difference in hours between two datetime value fields,where weekends are excluded?
 
so example,
6/24/2009 9:29:49 PM  - 6/23/2009 3:40:29 PM
the answer must be in hours and minutes.

what I would do is/have done, is use datediff to give me the answer in, say, minutes, then I would subtract the time for the weekend, since it is constant and then I would convert the value back to hours and minutes.
