Hi Guys.
 
I've got a problem with group sorting.
 
I have grouped my report by Item Status. The status of an item could be the following;
 
'MOT'
 
'RFL'
 
'BOTH'.
 
Would there be anyway to make the sorting dependant on the Item status?.
 
For example, if the group name is MOT, then sort by MOT.date, if its RFL then sort by RFL.MOT?
 
Please help!Confused

Create a formula,I think you are using parameters to filter the report,
 
Frm1
 
If {?Parameter.field}= 'MOT' then MOT.date
else if {?Parameter.field}= 'RFL' then RFL.MOT
 
go to sort expert then move then select the  formula  field  and move to sort fields.
