Hello,

Im wondering if anyone could tell me if it is possible to create a bar chart in crystal by simply using manuall created variables?

I want to create a bar chart which will have 2 bars.

the first bar will have a value of one.

the second bar will have a value of one.

underneath the first bar will say "goneup"

underneath the second bar will say "gonedown"

I created a formula with the code: NumberVar goneupp = 1;
and a formula with the code NumberVar gonedown = 1;

and then I added these two formulas to the "show values" section of chart expert.

Is this the right approach? If not, where am i going wrong and what can i do to get this to work?

Thank you.

Hi J,
Your clients apparently love bar charts   LOL

If all you want is one graph with these to columns at a value of 1 you Change your formula from variables to just the numeric value of 1.
Not sure about getting the text under each bar . You also can play around with the summarization as average, min or max to set the result to 1. Also not sure what you want the scale set to.
