Hi,

What I want to do is to create a blank report with only an object on it. I will have one parameter called 'country'.

The possible countries are 'france' 'germany' and 'italy'

When the user runs the report, they choose a country.

The report runs and a flag representing that country is displayed on the report.

How would i go about doing this?

[ I am relatively new to CR, but i assume that the way to get this working is to create an OLE object, put it on the report and create some sort of formula so that when the user chooses a particular country, the forumla interprets this and links to a website where the flag is contained and displays it in the OLE object on the report]. Would I be correct in saying this?

Cheers

I don't know if Crystal is that smart, but since there are a limited number of flags, you could set the images and then create a formula that looks at the parameter and displays the correct image.  You can suppress the 'wrong' flags by going to the 'Edit Field'/General tag/Suppress for the image you want to suppress and enter something like:
@parameter <> "country name"

Hope this helped
