Not sure what you mean here.
If you have filtered by the ID then then only values left would be a name field that relates to that unique ID# and you can therefore just drop that field into the header to show it...
Do you mean you need the parameter for selction by the end user to select the USername but your select statement has to use the ID#?

Since you have filtered byusing a parameter all of the data that is pulled into the report is only for that user. Therefore if you place the field of "actual Name" in the header it should display the name you want. YOu can use any field in a pager header, it just displays the content fromt he first row of data in the report. Since this data should be the same for all you records basedon your selection criteria it should not be an issue.
Just drag and drop the "Actual Name" field onto the Rerport header and see what is there. If it is not the name you expect please describe what you got instead.
