if data is suppressed, the aggregate functions of Crystal don't report correctly. The way that I get around this to use shared variables and create my own aggregates. Maybe there is an easier way, but I don't know it.
For this method, you need to create a method in the group header that sets your variables to 0, then in the detail section you need to add the values that are not skipped to the variables, and finally where you want the total displayed, you need a formula to report the value of your shared variables.
