Dear readers,
This is my first post here. I have done my reasearch and I have not been able to find my answer on the mighty interweb.
A problem well explained is already half the solution they say. To help me out, i will be posting images on imageshack.
the situation i have today is the following:
-my report uses a Stored Procedure (name: spREP_getJobReport_TKL)
-in that stored procedure, there's a field named : DrawerFrontBottomStyleOln
-for the example I'm using, when the stored procedure is executed, 5 records are being displayed
-the result of the stored procedure can be seen here:

Okay.
Now, the purpose of this thread is to attack how indexing is being done within crystal report.
Perfect case scenario:
a count() is being done on the field {spREP_getJobReport_TKL;1.DrawerFrontBottomStyleOln};
once the count() value is being returned, we create a for loop starting from index 0 to count() value -1 that does the following
stringA := stringA + ' / ' + spREP_getJobReport_TKL;1.DrawerFrontBottomStyleOln[at position X];
[at position x] is where things don't work out for me.
is there an index for the database fields?
the desired result after the for loop has been executed would be the following: stringA = N/A / N/A / N/A / 5Pc Raised / 5Pc Recessed
please help me out
thanks for reading,
-sebastien
