I want to know how to access base report command's field in sub report

 

e.g.

base report command:

select fieldName,fName from myTable where recid = {?parameterfield}

 

now i want to access fName field in sub report i.e. just want to put this field on sub report.

 

Can someone point me in the right direction?

 

i have searched on net and found that we can declare some shared variables and access them in sub report but info was not clear to me.

 

If someone can explain in detail then it will be really helpful for me.
