I am trying to filter records on a report.

The scenario is that a document has a status that may hve been INVALID at some point in the past but now may not be - so I have a 1 to many relationshiop going on. How do I exclude records that have ever had a status of invalid?

Are we dealing with two tables or multiple records within the same table? If you have mutilple records in the same table you could group by doc_no or what ever your key field is do a running total so that it only counts the records where your status = "INVALID". Then you can suppress the group if the running total is greater than 1.

Slight twist on the prior question...is the status of the record currently invalid?  Do you store prior statuses?  Do you have a list of status that would have been invalid in the past?
Just wondering.
