Hello Mate,
First of all i made a dataset and made connection to the database through sql connection wizard.and made this dataset as the datasource to a crystal report document.
I used a query like this "Select * from Users" .Now i need to pass parameter to this query to show filtered out data in report like(select * from Users where username='Sidewinder2' and date='01/30/2008.
And also need a step by step explnation to increase the records per page.
If u know any website or example for creating crystal report with please let me know.

create parameters for your stored proc. When you update the datasource, Crystal will create the parameters that are needed to run the stored proc.
As for more records on a page, smaller page header/footer, smaller margins, smaller fonts, no extra room between lines. It is just like writing on paper, you only can fit so many lines in...unless you make smaller lines.
