Hi Sreelekha,

What I think is you need to create two separate graphs for heating and cooling details and then overlay eachother in such a way that they seem to be one,Also you can tyr to experiment using the 3D charts....

Is the requirement for specific chart ,please post some sample data ,so that i can playaround and see what is possible.

Cheers

Hi Rahul,

my requirement is specific for a chart
Here are sample values
HeatingDegreeDays CoolingDays AverageDemand Date
30                                20              27                        2008-12-1
21                                17              30                        2008-12-2
25                                18              29.5                     2008-12-3

i need to have both heating and cooling days on common x-axis and averagedemand on y-axis based on date

Thanks,

Hi

You need to group by Date once done ,specify for each month  in group options,You can create a 3d riser type chart in which you can have 2 on change Fields and One Summary field

So 2 onchange fields will be
HeatingDegreeDays
CoolingDays

and
AverageDemand will be summary ,create a formula and place the field in that if you don't want to sum the field.

Let me know if 3d riser type chart is what you looking for?

Cheers
Rahul

Hi Rahul,

i should not use 3D Riser chart.
i shld be using any of the  2D charts only and try to represent on common axis.
Is it possible to achieve that in crystal reports

Thanks,
Sreelekha
