Using Crystal 9 for PeopleSoft Finance release 9 MP6, Tools 8.49.
Having problems getting a field to NOT print if another field has certain value but it keeps displaying no matter what.
If (AR) invoice-type is not 'REG' then we don't want the original_invoice field to print.  But I cannot seem to get the original_invoice field to not print.  I put formual on Format Field's Common tab, but data still shows for  the original_invoice.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Just for fun...because I have made similar mistakes, create a formula with the criteria you are using for suppression and then place the formula on your report.  It might be returning false when you think it should be returning true, and you want true.  Is the report suppressing the field (true)...suppression, at least to me, seems to be backwards.  What you want to display needs to be a logical false in the suppression logic.

Hope this helps

I ended up making a new custom Formula Field.  Prints what is wanted.  And since this is for a customization to a delivered PeopleSoft form, it's very obvious that it's been modified (which helps with upgrades).
Thanks.
