Hi,

I receive the following error.......

Source:
Error is: Multiple-step OLE DB operation generated errors. Check each OLE DB status value, if available. No work was done.
at CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.ReportClientDocumentWrapper.CreateRptDo()
at CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.ReportClientDocumentWrapper..ctor()
at CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.ReportDocument.()
at CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.ReportDocument..ctor()
at Clarity.CR_OpenOrders.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e)
at System.Web.UI.Control.OnLoad(EventArgs e)
at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive()
at System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessRequestMain()

Loading the report worked fine the other day, but today all reports give this error.  It seems to happen in the following vb.net statement

m_ReportDocument = New CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.ReportDocument

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Sorry, I can't help you on this one. I have no idea what it could be. What about re-installing the software in case a DLL got corrupted?

I have suspicions that it has something to do with Crystal Reports 11 and Crystal 2008 running together.  On the live server at first the Crystal 2008 reports were working after I installed the Crystal Reports runtime, but an application that was running Crystal Reports 11 were not working.  The next day the opposite happend, Crystal Reports 11 reports were working but the Crystal 2008 reports were not.

Could my suspicions be correct?  Any other suggestions to tackle this problem?

Thanks

Business Objects has long strived to fix problems of having multiple versions of CR on the same computer. But it still has problems. Sounds like this the data connectivity DLL is having conflicts. I don't have any suggestions for getting around it other than getting a support ticket (due to the complexity of the problem).
