Hello,

I am trying to put page breaks into my report - and can.t finds much information ..  I would like to have page breaks after each new group, and i am using crystal XI.

Does anyone know how to do this properly as i seem to have either a 1st blank page or a last blank page!

Thanks

Under the section expert

There are two options available for every section to insert page breaks "New Page Before" or "New Page After"

Check the box for one of these options and then add one of the following two formulas to the "x-2" box

Formula1: not onfirstrecord

Formula2: not onlastrecord

Using the formula with the first record or the last record will depend on whether you are inserting a page break in the group header or the group footer.

Hi,

I have three groups and have put this formula on the group header with the sections expert as suggested, however i parts of my other groups get split.

eg

group 1 = Self generated/refered appointents
Group 2 = past/future appointments
 Group 3 = stage

i have placed the formula in group 3 - new page before.
the other groups split part way so i may have group 1 self genrated appointments - past appointment and then on the same page i have group 2 future appointments but no details.

any other ideas?
please help

ps i have group 1 as keep togther within the group expert.
