Hi

I need to write a report that has a spreed sheet look.  I need columns to show the levels of a hairdressing sylist, the rows to contain the services and the middle part to show the prices that they charge for each service based on there level.

Whats the answer, cross tab grid? this appears to be based on sumarizing data? using the standard report method seems impossible.

Anyone know what the best way is?

I think that a crosstab is probably the best way to go. Re the fact that it summarizes data, this only applies when more than one detail record is pulled into a row. If your rows only have a single detail record, then there is nothing to summarize and you would be okay.
