How to supress some unwanted text which is present in the middle of the string, say its a standard text,  and display the rest in the report ??
 
for ex :
 
In this post, \font i wanted to\font have the unwanted \font text to be suppressed.
 
output must be like :
 
In this post, i wanted to have the unwanted text to be supressed.
 
can any one help me out with this ???

Use the following
 
 
or you can test by hard-coding....
 
trim(replace('In this post, \font i wanted to\font have the unwanted \font text to be suppressed','\font',''))
 
Output
In this post,  i wanted to have the unwanted  text to be suppressed
