Date Grouping

I have a report that lists out all the dates from a month selected and then shows amounts sold on that date.

I am trying to get a CSV of just date and amount in order to create a graph.

My issue is that when I group by the date field, I get a random set of dates under each group. I have no idea how or why this is happening.

Any ideas?

I fixed this by using ToText(date_field},"MM/dd/yyyy")


Now, whats the best way to add a goal field?
I have 1 goal for the month, how can I add a column for just this 1 number?
