i hope this is the right forum for this post. i am using CR 2008 and SQL 2008

i have a report based on a stored proc with 3 parameters, 2 dates and a string, this works fine.

what i have been trying to do is change the string parameter from static to dynamic populated by another stored proc so that the end users can select from a drop down list.

this method of populating the parameter list works fine on an unrelated parameter i add to the report but as soon as i try it with the linked parameter the drop list disappears and reverts to a single entry text box.

i cannot understand what i am doing wrong, can anyone help ?
