Hi

Simple one hopefully, I seem to be spending too long searching however.

I have lost the field explorer in Crystal XI.  The icon in the toolbar is lit up and available as is the View>Field explorer.  When I click either, nothing happens at all - it's either hidden and I can't see it (looked everywhere) or not working (but not greyed out).  Same applies to Report Explorer.

Anyone had this before/know what the answer is?

Thanks
Embarrassed

Have you maximized your Crystal Window to try to find it?  I suspect that it was undocked and is now off of the visible portion of your screen.

If you can't find it, you may have to uninstall and reinstall.

Thanks for the reply Dell

Yes, I have maximised/minimised and had a good look.  I was having difficulties re docking it last couple of days.  A re-0install has crossed my mind too Confused unless anyone else has an answer...?

Have you tried temporarily changing your screen resolution so that when you maximize the window it is bigger?

This should fix your problem:

View - Toolbars

Check 'Reset all toolbars and explorers on next restart'

Click OK

Close Crystal Reports and launch again.

The Field Explorer should now work again.

Thanks

Thanks so much.  Resetting the toolbars worked for me.  Been a issue for weeks and such a simple solution.  Thanks for your post.
