    Posted: 07 Jul 2008 at 11:05am
Hi all,

I've been having a problem when exporting a report to Excel. Almost everytime a user clicks on export all the decimal parts of the fields are turned to zeroes, rounded. This causes a huge error when summing a lot of fields, which is my case.

Notice the use of the word ALMOST, because this doesn't happen everytime.

Anyone ever experienced something like this?
Is this a known bug?
Is there a way around it?

Thanks in advance for your advices,

Thanks for the fast response. Didn't expect it that soon! =)

We're stuck using Crystal Reports 6.0, our company doesn't want to afford an upgrade, they fear our more than 400 reports won't be compatible with newer versions. This would require extensive testing and all.

Users try to export using option Excel 8.0.
Also, this is another problem: the option Excel 8.0 is only available on some computers. Even though all of Microsoft Office installations are the same, we only have one version: MS Office 2003.

Again, thanks for the very fast answer.
