I have an issue that's been plaguing me for a week or so...
I have a KPI report where it shows total units ordered, units shipped same day, +1 day, +2 days, +3 days etc.
Now my issue is that I need to drill-down into the summary of each day to list specific details (carton #, if it's shipped etc.)
I cannot for the life of me figure out how drill down into the specific days to look at only its data.
Think of it like an Excel pivot table that can drill down and expose the data.
Ideas?

You could use a chart.
group on date field set to day
set a summary as a count of 'unit Id' at the day group footer
insert a bar chart set to use the Group under Data tab
You can now drill into the details by clicking on the specific bar for that date
