hi,
i have a table where i have item and quantity and date.
i am developing a report using Corss-tab that shows for each month the sum of quantity for ex
date item quantity
12/01/2015 itemA 10
16/01/2015 itemA 5
09/02/2015 itemA 11
17/03/2015 itemA 4
the report should display
January February March
Item A 15 26 30
Create a Cross tab with Column as Date and set grouping option is Month and for Summarized field, Create a formula with below logic
{Value} / {Quantiry}
Insert above formula in Cross tab summarized field and set the "Change Summary" to Avg
