Hi, guys,

I am new to Crystal Report and i am learning how to use the CROSS TAB function. Currently i am struggling in table subtracting, here is the situation.

I have three tables,

1. Customer
2. Sales
3. Sales-Return

When i finished joining two tables, "Customer" and "Sales", i have no ideas how can i put the "Sales-Return" inside the CROSS TAB table to let the "Sales" minus the "Return", hope you guys would giving me some guidance on this, thanks a lot.

I'm not experienced with Cross Tabs, but they appear to be mostly to do with formatting so I think this will work.

You could try creating a Formula to do the subtraction of one table from another.

In the Field Explorer, right click "Formula Fields", select "New", name it "Sales-Return".

Have one line of code similar to:
{tablename.sales} - {tablename.return}

Click OK, and then use this Formula as part of your Cross Tab setup.
