Previously has no problem, but today unable open the Crystal Report 2008 software from my PC. While click the icon, Crystal Report 2008 opened but is only loading. Can't click anything in the CR 2008.

Any idea what problem is this? Thank you. Smile

When you open crystal reports, it checks for updates if any.  Try to uncheck the option --Help--Check for Updates.

I have had the exact same problem, and sastry is right, it is to do with updates.
 
You need to change the registry.
 
HKEY_LOCALMACHINE\SOFTWARE\BUSINESS OBJECTS\SUUITE 12.0\CRYSTALREPORTS
Click on this and then find DisableCheckForUpdates. Double click this, and set the value to 1
 
Reopen Crystal and Hey presto Smile

Good. My worry is I still don't know how it got changed.  They push things out on the network and odd things happen.
Especially when you have time off for a holiday Smile
