i am currently running crytal reports 2008 and everytime i open and refresh a report it requests logon to the SQL server. after the first logon i can refresh as much as i want to. its just on the first refresh.
 
i have connected the server and ticked the integrated security check box.

Are you running from inside Crystal Reports?  If so, this is the way it works - even if you have integrated security checked.

i am yes, but i am the only one having this issue. we are 3 using it.
 
2 users are on the local network and because im on the other side of the country i connect via the internet. could it be a security issue on the server?

Yes, that is possible.  Especially since you're not on the same physical network as the other two users.  Your workstation knows about the network you're logged physically connected to, not necessarily the one where the database resides.
