Hi all,

Is there a way of reducing the amount of white space in a crosstab row height so that it will take up less room when printed.

I can reduce the font but can find no option to allow me to change the row height.

Any ideas ?

Thanks

Chris

Just highlight the crosstab field and you will see handles. Then drag the bottom handle up to reduce the height of the row.

Unless I'm mistaken this is the text box size that is being changed. This does have the knock-on effect of changing the row height but at the same time also changes the height of the text box which means that the text is no longer fully visible.

It is the whitespace above and below the text that i'm trying to reduce not the size of the text.

Thanks

You also have to reduce the font number to fit your new row height.

In the Cross Tab expert there is a property called "Show cell margins" under the Custom Styles tab.   If you uncheck it, the cell will be draw to fix the text without padding.
