Do you have any information about Business Objects Crystal Server InfoView product? Specifically why printer settings from a Crystal Report created in version XI are not staying the same when published to InfoView.

Part of it has to do with the fact that the report is generated on the server. If the server does not have the drivers installed for the particular type of printer the report was designed for, then it will use generic printer settings.

This is why you explore older posts. We are basically having the same problem with several of the reports built into our business program.Example: When our order entry person prints the job ticket out she has to uncheck the box for no printer and then set the properties for the printer attached to her machine, every time she prints a new one. This happens with 2008 as well and I suspect the subject of this thread has a lot to do with it.It will be interesting to see what tech support comes up with.
