I just wanted to ask if there is a big difference between CR 9 and CR XI? What is the biggest difference ?

we have CR9, and want to upgrade to XI but before we make the buy, we want to have some information about what makes XI better than 9, and if there is some compatibility problems between versions.

Dell talked about compatibility issues in previous posts. You should do a search for what she said. Re the upgrade, there are lots of changes from 9 to XI. You should check to version comparison chart on the Business Objects website. Personally, dynamic cascading prompts is pretty significant and you can also display images in a report using the filename. They also rewrote a lot of the database drivers so that data processing is faster and more complex table linking is supported (i.e. not buggy).
