I have a chart with long labels for the datapoints on the x-axis.
The default rotation is NORMAL, with the label parallel to the axis. Whenever I set the orientation to 90 (perpendicular to the axis), it reverts to 45. Because of this, all the labels on the axis don't show up and only every other one shows up in the finished report.

Is this a bug in Crystal XI, or is there a way to get it to work as expected.?

I tried this in CR 8.5 and with CR XIR2 (with SP1 and MHF1 applied) and did not have your problem with either
