Hi

i have payroll system which was developed using Vb 6 as front end and MS-access (older version should be 97). this is installed in one of the pc and works fine. (stand alone version)

when i am installing the same in another computer, i get "error 20599, cannot open sql server " for only one report. other modules are working fine.

i have googled for this error and am not sure where to look for the solution. what could be the reason for the above error. what is this to do with sql server as i dnt have one installed in the system.

if other reports are all working fine in the new computer why this error. what is that i need to change or look for, as this is working fine in the old computer where it was installed few years ago.

Please help. thanks in advance.

Regards
Ganesh
