File Author not coming up

I am trying to what I think is a very simple field. I am trying to add the file author to my report. I am on 7.0 of Crystal and using a SQL db.
 
I have tried adding it using the "Special Fields" under the Field Explorer as well as writing a formula "FileAuthor" but neither put anything in my report. The field just comes up blank.
 
Other Special fields work fine such as the print date and print time. Everything else in my report works fine.

Anyone else run into this?

File/Summary info/Summary/  write something for author field.
Should work after that.

I should have mentioned that multiple users run these reports and they are being run in a different application than Crystal. So the summary wont work.
