Hallo

I have an application (Delphi 7) witch create 2 tables with secondary index
    (create index ix on "param.db" (ident) )

When I design a report with this tables I got a error
  "Can't open rowset"  + "Invalid Argument provided"

If I delete index work fine
If I create index with Database desktop work fine

But when index is create by apl. don't work


I check index file gen. by apl with index file gen. by database desktop and they is not exactly equal

Can somebody explain why ?

This is a Delphi/Paradox specific question and I doubt you get an answer for it here as it has nothing to do with Crystal.  There is a really good Delphi forum on http://www.tek-tips.com - www.tek-tips.com where you might find a better answer to your question.  (It's been several years since I worked in Delphi, so I don't have an answer for you off the top of my head...sorry!)
