hi,

i have t his part id number

51106.40,53329.59,8374.23......and so on

my problem is.... i don`t want the decimal number i should be

51106,  53329, 8374....

 
how shall i do this can any one help me....

You can use the Int() to trim the decimals or use the Format Field option to not show them.

which tab am i suppose to use the  common, broder ,paragraph in the format editor  to not to show the decimal point

plz guide me...

It is on the Number tab. Since you didn't mention it in your list then I assume that you don't have that tab. If so, then that means that the data is a string data type and you have to convert it to a number. To do that, create a formula and use the ToNumber() function so that it converts the string to a number. Then the Number tab will be available to you and you can format it properly.
