Hi,

I have VB 6 with Crystal Reports in the CD. I used for years VB6 with Crystal Reports without problems.

In this moment, I have installed Visual Basic 2005 Express Edition. Since this tool don't bring CReports, I have installed the version which comes with VB6.

If I create a rpt file in the CR and save it, then I can use VB Express to visualize/print the report. The problem is that if I change the data in the database, I will only see that change in the VB report, if I refresh report data in the Crystal Report tool and save it again. :(

I think the problem is that in VB6 there was a menu option "Add-Ins+Report Designer", i.e., Crystal Reports was always linked to VB6.
How can I do the same thing with Express Edition??????

Thanks for your help.

I didn't see CR listed as a version with VS 2005 Express. Usually, express versions are limited in their functionality.
