Hi,

I just got the Crystal Reports Encyclopedia for XI.
I do not have Crystal Reports yet.  I am trying to teach myself so was wondering the best place to purchase a copy?  I have seen it on the web for $200 - $300 but after reading I see that those are the 2008 Upgrade versions.  I assume I need to have XI installed to upgrade which I also do not have.

Is there a full version or student version I can purchase?
As soon as I buy this will Crystal Reports 2009 come out?
