Hi,
 
So I have tome values:
 
1
2
3
6
1
2
 
then I sum them up and in my group its 15.
 
we have a report that does this a few times so now we have them in groups...
 
GP total: 12
GP total: 10
GP total: 5
GP total 11
 
you get the idea - so the groups are a sum of the details... now what I want to do is the average of the totals!
 
if I just try to do the average of the details I'm going to be getting the wrong data - I need to do the average based on the group totals alone.
 
is this possible?

Hi

Create running total and place it in Group Footer

Select the  same value field as for group total

Type of Summary Average

Evaluate for Each Record

Reset On Change of Group
