Hello there,

Recently I had to add some photos in a crystal report document. I've added them and I can see that the report and the photos are exported correctly. This is ok.

The images that are being exported are like :
ReportName_580a7e5e-9f2c-45c6-a270-1c98a65290bf
ReportName_1714_c13c409c-da60-414e-8566-8b8bd2c6d0e9

I generate some hundreds of reports, and for these ones the images are the same. There is no reason why should generate hundreds of photos when these photos are the same (5 per report).

I'm generating the reports in html, and for each html it's generating the same files, over and over, it's no so good.

What I would like to do :
I would like to say to crystal report, that the images are a, b,c, d and use them from the directory Images, or whatever, so the structure will be

Images
  a, b, c, d
Html
  Html1 (use image a, b, c, d)
  Html2 (use image a, b, c, d)
  ...
  ...
  Htmln (use image a, b, c, d)

Does anyone knows how can this be made?

Thank you,
Catalin Andrei

So it's the viewer that's creating all of the extra image files?  Are your images static in the report, coming from the database, or are you linking to image files?
