Why when I set a height of a field on a report it just resets itself to some other random number. I set it as .19 and you save it and go back and it has changed itself to .18, then .17, then .16 etc.

Can't a field just be a height I make it and not change itself. Is there some trick I am missing?

Crystal is so annoying sometimes. Its terrible but better than anything else I have used (except access's reports that works really well!)

I think I might try out SQL reports again. I hated it the first time I tried it but maybe its improved.

I have figured out what my problem was. There is a little option on the field called - lock position and size on the format field properties - common. This allows you to set the height without it randomly changing on you.
