Is there a registry setting or some other setting that prevents a Crystal Report shortcut on the desktop from opening the actual report?

When a shortcut has been created on the desktop it will invoke the program but doesn't automatically open the report. You have to click on the File/Open option in order to get the report to come up which kind of defeats the purpose of the shortcut.

Just curious.

To follow up the previous post I assume it must be a registry setting of some sort. I tried opening up a short on another machine and no issue. It opened the report.

Now what that registry setting is not sure.

I have never tried it so I do not know.
