I have a table with consecutive numbers 1-48 that are cell addresses on a crystal crosstab.

I have another table with samples from a batch/run that are numbered by cup number 1 through whatever (up to 48).

When the tech enters that this run's first cup is going to need to go on cup 22, I need to somehow join those two pieces of information and make that run consecutively.
So, if cup 1 needs to start on cell 22, I want cell 23 to show cup #2.

can this be done in crystal?

just spit balling...the report would need to know how to get the data for say 1-22, and you would craft the report to start at the number entered.

It is all in the SQL. If you can write in SQL or create a procedure, then Crystal can display it.
