Welcome to the best of the Crystal Reports forums.

A couple of thoughts.

Read through the information on this site, look through forums.

Use the help file in Crystal Reports. If you dont have CR download the trial version. The help file while frustrating at time contains a lot of information

Load up the sample reports and look through the design, formulas, etc.

Finally, try building some simple reports against the sample database or some other datasource. You can best learn it by using it. Try making formulas, groups, sql expressions, command objects, running totals etc.

You can always ask questions, most of us are still learning...so we like to help where we can.

Regards,

John W.

There are sample databases in MS Access that, I believe, come with the product.  You should be able to use those.

Also keep in mind that Crystal works with Excel spreadsheets, too.  You can probably find a few of those very easily.  They're also great to practice on, because it's very easy to go in and change data around.
