Can anybody help me
 
I am using CR10 and have a report that contains 2 subreports
 
Both report contain the same field which is a string for example cref which contain both alpha and numeric characters and what i want to know is as follows
 
In report 2 i only want to show cref that dont appear in report 1
 
how do i do this

Simple answer - you can't by passing data between the subreports.  However, there may be another way of doing this.
 
Is there data in the main report or just in the subreports?  What is the current selection criteria for report 1 and report 2?

you could run subreport 1, return a string of items as a shared variable and then have subreport act on the shared string.
 
at least that is what I would try
