SmileHi, I am modifying an existing report which has 4 tables under the Database Fields section.

I have added another table via the database expert to this list from the same existing connection.

I have checked the table is linked to one of the existing tables using the same data type and string length.

Also checked in the database via another tool that there is matching data for the report to run on this new table.

However when I check the query string via Show SQL Query from the Database menu option the new table has not been added.

Why is the new table not showing even though it is setup correctly via the link tab of database expert?

thanks

If you haven't used any fields from the table in your report, it won't appear in the query.  Crystal builds its query based on which fields are used somewhere in the report - either on the report itself, in the filter and/or sort, or in any formatting formulas.
