Is there any way to remove the Catalog (database) and Owner (schema) from the Table properties?

not that I know of.

since you have application running (I am assuming, since things are being set dynamically) a 'simpler' approach is to have your application get the data, then 'push' the data to the report...then you don't have to worry about the data connection at all.  All the CR sees is a dataset that has the schema it is expecting, and it processes it.

Been doing it this way for years, I would dread having to go back to using an OLE or ODBC connection.

Are you referring to using Crystal Data Objects (CDO)?  If so, you are correct.  I have used them in the past for a few selected reports and they worked good, but there is much more initial work involved to set it up.  We have approx 300 or more rpts.  This would take a long time to change all of them to use CDO's, but it would solve the problem.  Thanks.
