I am facing problem in migrating Visual studio 2005 Appliacation to Windows 2008 64bit R2 Server from Windows 2003.
My Windows 2008 R2 Development Server working on 64bit. IIS is also set on 64bit. My Visual studio 2005 Application set on 64bit. I have installed Oracle 10g 64bit client on Windows 2008 R2 Development Server.
But when I published application & run crystal report which is linked with Microsoft OLEDB provider for Oralce in design time, it raised error. Error description is as below.
Error Description : Logon failed. Details: Error Code: 0x Source: ADODB.Connection Description: Provider cannot be found. It may not be properly installed. Error in File C:\Windows\TEMP\tablesource {DDAA03B8-F727-4C3B-9E03-3345859EA8AC}.rpt: Unable to connect: incorrect log on parameters.
I have installed all software in Windows 2008 R2 Development Server in following order.
1) First Installed Oracle 64bit client
2) Visual Studio 2005
3) CRRedist2005_X64
I have given full rights to everyone on C:\windows\temp folder.
I think IIS not able to find 64bit Crystal report driver for oracle 64bit.
How can I over come from this problem ?
