Dear All,

I am setting up a report with grouped data (districts) and a total at the end (entire state). The formulas in the total grouping (entire state) are running totals. Now I want to have a standardised value in the districts and hence, need to calculate averages of the total. I will then multiply these averages with the average in the districts, to get a standardisation.

However, I have a problem here. If I make formulas calculating averages based on the running totals in the state total, that average cant be used in the districts since the formula only calculates up to the current level. This means that the calculated averages differ for different districts. How can I calculate total averaged values that later can be used in more detailed groups in a report?

Does anyone have any suggestion how I can solve this?

Thank you very much in advance,

Anna

try the summary wizard and use average.
