I have two folders where I maintain my crystal files. One is development and the other is for testing which my manager does. As we are still developing the reports and changing requirements, whenever there's a new realease I copy the files from development folder to the testing folder.
But the parent report still holds the old location of the subreport file. Until now, i used to change the directory name of my development folder and then run the test report. Crystal prompted me to select a new location to the file and everything was fine.

I am wondering if there's an inbuilt way of changing the subreport path.

Unfortunately, I've never seen this. Maybe someone knows a way to do it?

Hi buddy,
I am not sure about the version of CR you are using, But I am working on CR 10 and from my knowledge, once we include the SubReport into the Parent Report, it becomes embedded in the Parent report. So, even if you copy and paste the parent report to a different folder, sub report gets included on its own.
If you could elaborate your issue, we can resolve that.
Thanks.

You are right Vimal. The subreports get embedded in the main report in CR XI too. Thanks for the response.
