We have a database that contains numbers in the American format instead of the Metric format. We normally work with databases with numbers in Metric Format.

Crystal Reports recognises a field is numeric and converts it to Metric format but incorrect.

When a field contains a number with no decimals it's ok.

But a number with decimals is converted wrong because the Decimalsign "." (dot) is being ignored.

F.e. 500.91 is converted to 50091,00.

Is there a solution for this that Crystal Reports converts the American format to Metric on the correct way?

We work with Crystal Reports 2008

you could create a formula that will replace the decimal point with a comma, instead of having CR do it.

Sorry, I don't more about how CR converts numbers.
