CR 8

On Format Field (Format Editior) there is no to tab to allow me to increase the decimal places from 2 places to 3:

i.e. 1.00 to 1.000

What tab is this on?

The tab is there if the field is a number field. (At least that's the way it is in 2008)

Hello Theorren,

I just checked another number column (instrument range) & when I select Format Field, the Number tab is there.

However, when I select the column in question (tolerence) the Number tab is not available.

What might I be doing wrong?

The field may be coming through as a string. If so, make a formula to convert it to a number field (ccur or cdbl usually work). Then place that formula in the report and change the decimal.

Hope that works.
